Your application process

Your admission and registration process follows these steps:

1. Submit your application

To apply, you submit your application and the required supporting documents to the Admission Officer, who will guide you through the process and support you with any questions along the way.

 

2. Application review
Your application is reviewed by the Program Committee to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements and that all required documents have been submitted.

3. Evaluation of the application file
The Committee evaluates your application file and supporting documentation, with particular attention to your academic background and overall academic profile.

4. Interview stage
Eligible applicants may be invited to participate in an online oral interview conducted by members of the Program Committee.

5. Additional language assessment (if required)
In some admission rounds, a written English language assessment may also take place as part of the evaluation process.

6. Final selection of candidates
After completing the evaluation process, the Program Committee prepares the final list of admitted candidates and, where applicable, a list of runners-up.

7. Enrolment at the University
Successful applicants complete the enrolment process at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, following the instructions provided by the Program Secretariat.

  • Hold a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent qualification that gives access to higher education in the country of graduation
  • Have completed at least the final two (2) years of secondary education on a full-time basis
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for international applicants, as defined by the Programme regulations
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
  • Submit a complete application file with all required supporting documents
  • Take part in the online selection process conducted by the Program Steering Committee
  • Participate in an online interview, where communication skills, reasoning ability, academic readiness and general understanding of theological issues are assessed
  • Complete a Theology-related test and/or English language assessment, only if required in the official call for applications

 

Additional Qualifications Considered Positively

The following qualifications may strengthen an application:

  • International Baccalaureate (IB): minimum 28/45
  • GCE A-levels: minimum BBB in relevant subjects
  • Advanced Placement (AP): grade 4 or 5 in relevant subjects
  • SAT: minimum 1200/1600
  • ACT: minimum 25/36
  • TSA (Thinking Skills Assessment): minimum 70/100 or raw score ≥ 28/50

per Academic Year

The total tuition fee for the Program is €20,000.

Tuition fees are paid according to the schedule defined by the Program and communicated to admitted students before enrolment.

Payments are made electronically to the Special Account for Research Funds of Aristotle University (ELKE AUTH), following the instructions provided by the Programme Secretariat.

Upon acceptance of an offer of a place on the Programme, candidates may be required to confirm their participation according to the instructions of the Programme Secretariat.
